Modern Elegance & Neon Glow: Styling the Rural Women’s Awards

When it comes to celebrating the incredible achievements of women in our rural communities, the atmosphere needs to be as vibrant and inspiring as the nominees themselves. For the Rural Women’s Awards, we were thrilled to provide a full suite of styling services, transforming the venue into a modern, immersive masterpiece.

From the first step into the building to the final award on stage, here is how we brought this vision to life.

A Grand Entrance: The Neon Tunnel

First impressions are everything. To set a contemporary tone, we ditched the traditional entryway for something far more electric. We designed a striking entry feature using a series of neon chevron lights that framed a lush purple carpet. This created a high-impact "tunnel" effect, drawing guests into the room and making every attendee feel like a star from the moment they arrived.

The Heart of the Room: A Glowing Canopy

Once inside, the eyes were immediately drawn upward. The centerpiece of our ceiling installation was a stunning, oversized glowing material flower installation. Suspended in the center of the room, this piece acted as a sculptural light source, bathing the entire gala in a soft, ethereal glow and tying the floral theme of the awards together with a modern, artistic twist.

The Stage: Where Movement Meets Light

For the stage set, we wanted to create a backdrop that felt alive. We installed a giant petal set that served as a canvas for the AV team’s lighting design. As the lights shifted throughout the evening, the petals caught the colors, adding a sense of movement and dynamic energy to the formal proceedings.

The Tables: Texture and Light

We believe styling is found in the details. For the centerpieces, we designed custom frosted acrylic flower boxes.

• The Glow: Each box was internally lit with a warm light, providing a sophisticated ambiance at eye level.

• The Texture: Fresh, pastel flowers "popped" from the top of the frosted cubes, adding a necessary touch of organic texture to the sleek, modern aesthetic of the room.
