Our Story
Imagine Events was founded by Mel and Craig, two professionals with deep roots in the events industry. Mel’s background in Audio Visual Sales, Event Styling, and Interior Design, combined with Craig’s expertise in Corporate Audio Visual, Theatre, Film, and Set Design, set the foundation for a business driven by creativity and innovation.
Years ago, we both stepped away from the events world to explore other career paths. However, within months (or perhaps just weeks), we realised that events were our true calling. Unable to stay away from the industry we loved, we decided to launch Imagine Events. Since then, we have spent over a decade curating unforgettable moments and bringing unique event concepts to life.
What We Do
While we adore traditional event styling—who doesn’t love a stunning arrangement of flowers and candles?—our real passion lies in creating unique, custom-made pieces. From stage sets to one-of-a-kind centerpieces, we love designing and crafting new products that set events apart. Our love for technology drives us to explore and embrace innovative methods in design and production, ensuring that we stay ahead of the curve.
Meet Our Team
Imagine Events is a tight-knit team led by Mel and Craig, supported by our amazing casual staff who help us execute each event to perfection.
Mel runs the office and is the main point of contact for clients. From the initial inquiry to the final touches, she ensures that every detail aligns with your vision.
Craig manages our warehouse in Queanbeyan, overseeing event prep, logistics, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. He’s the one making sure our team is safe, our vans are packed, and that everything arrives on-site on time.
Our Casual Staff are the backbone of our operations. They assist with setting up and packing down events, as well as handling those all-important behind-the-scenes tasks like washing vases and pressing linen.
